Seligman Investments has established Seligman Ventures, a $500 million venture capital arm targeting early-stage to pre-IPO investments in AI, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and modern data center hardware. The initiative, led by Managing Partner Umesh Padval, aims to integrate private and public market strategies.

Since its operational start in November 2025, Seligman Ventures has made four early-stage investments. The strategy focuses on technology lifecycle investment, aiming for diversification and enhanced engagement with emerging tech companies and founders. Managing Partners Ashish Kakran and Eddie Ackerman will support early-stage investments and operational oversight, respectively.
