SemiQ Introduces Gen3 SiC Modules for EV and Industrial Drive Applications
SemiQ Inc has launched the QSiC™ Gen3 SiC modules, which significantly reduce switching losses in EV and industrial drive systems. The new modules provide a 30% reduction in specific on-resistance and turn-off energy losses compared to prior generations. They are available in various configurations, including S3 half-bridge modules up to 608 A, SOT-227 modules, B2T1 six-pack modules, and B3 full-bridge modules.

The QSiC™ Gen3 SiC modules by SemiQ Inc are engineered for active front ends and compressor systems in advanced datacenter cooling. These modules offer a 30% reduction in specific on-resistance (RONsp) and turn-off energy losses (EOFF) compared to earlier versions. Available configurations include S3 half-bridge modules with up to 608 A and 2.4 mΩ RDSon, SOT-227 modules with RDSon from 7.4 to 34 mΩ, B2T1 six-pack modules from 19.5 to 82 mΩ, and B3 full-bridge modules with up to 120 A.
