Seraya Partners Evaluates Sale or IPO of Cyan Renewables Worth Up to $2 Billion
Seraya Partners is exploring strategic options for Cyan Renewables, potentially leading to a sale or IPO, with estimates valuing the firm at $2 billion. The offshore wind sector is witnessing rising valuations due to strong demand for vessels amid a limited supply.

Seraya Partners is evaluating a dual-track process for its offshore wind firm Cyan Renewables, considering both a sale and an initial public offering. Valued at approximately $2 billion, Cyan is a marine services provider with a fleet of 35 vessels, maintaining offshore wind turbines across Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Australia, and Scotland.
The firm has received multiple acquisition offers amid strong vessel demand, but Seraya is under no pressure to sell. Cyan's annual earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization exceed $100 million. The offshore wind capacity is projected to increase by 140 gigawatts from 2025 to 2030, significantly impacting the market dynamics and investment potential in this sector.
