DATA AND AI INFRASTRUCTURE

Serverfarm and the Israel Infrastructure Fund (IIF) will build a 130 megawatts data center in Ashdod for Dalia Energy, involving a $1.5 billion investment. The Ofek data center is planned to expand to 200 megawatts and will source electricity from a new power station, Eshkol Avshal, which will have an 850 megawatts capacity.

The data center will open for commercial activity in the second half of 2029. Dalia is also pursuing underwater optical fiber deployment to Europe for high-speed data transmission, essential for AI computations. The total investment, including servers and equipment, could reach $4-5 billion.
