SFR Acquisition Bid Progresses, Vertiv Acquires BMarko Structures
The acquisition process for SFR is advancing, with three telecom operators preparing a new bid. Vertiv has acquired BMarko Structures to enhance its data center infrastructure capabilities.

Three telecom operators—Orange, Bouygues Telecom, and Free—are finalizing a new acquisition offer for SFR, following a previous proposal of €17 billion that was rejected. This new bid is expected to be submitted by the end of April, ahead of the 2027 presidential elections, though it faces regulatory scrutiny and must appeal to current owner Patrick Drahi.
Vertiv has completed the acquisition of BMarko Structures, a company specializing in modular container solutions for data centers, based in Williamston, South Carolina. The acquisition will strengthen Vertiv's procurement and engineering capabilities, particularly in prefabricated data center modules, which streamline installation and enhance investment returns for clients.
