SGCC's Zhejiang Unit to Invest CNY300 Billion in Power Grid Over Five Years
State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power Company is set to invest CNY300 billion in power grid infrastructure from 2026 to 2030. This initiative aims to enhance transmission capabilities and facilitate the transition to clean energy in the region.

State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power Company plans a CNY300 billion investment in power grid construction during the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30). The programme allocates CNY82.7 billion specifically for ultra-high voltage projects, enhancing the province's transmission network to a 'one-ring, five-direct' structure.
This strategy is crucial for improving the reliability of energy distribution and supporting Zhejiang's shift towards clean energy sources. The investment underscores the importance of modernizing infrastructure to meet future energy demands and environmental goals.
