Sheffield Energy Works Seeks £600,000 for Community Clean Energy Initiative
Sheffield Energy Works (SEW) is launching a share offer to raise £600,000 for solar panels and an anaerobic digester at Our Cow Molly. This initiative aims to produce clean energy locally while providing financial returns to investors.

Sheffield Energy Works (SEW) aims to raise £600,000 to fund over 500 solar panels and an anaerobic digester at Cliffe House Farm, known as Our Cow Molly. The project will sell electricity produced on-site back to the farm, which will help repay shareholders.
Additionally, phase two will enable energy export in the form of green hydrogen for heavy transportation. Future projects include a pyrolysis plant and a virtual power station integrating local solar and battery systems.
Investors can join with a minimum of £5, earning 4% interest, and will have a voice in company decisions. SEW is focusing on community engagement and local energy production.
