Shenzhen Energy's 505MW Wind-Solar-Hydrogen Project Connects 200MW Wind Turbines to Grid
Shenzhen Energy has successfully connected the first 200MW wind turbine units of its 505MW wind-solar-hydrogen integrated project to the grid, marking a significant step in its green energy strategy. The project, approved by the National Energy Administration, overcame technical challenges to complete the connection of a 60km-long transmission line in just over 130 days. This initiative supports hydrogen production and green ammonia synthesis, enhancing the region's energy structure and contributing to China's clean energy transition.

On December 27, Shenzhen Energy's 505MW wind-solar-hydrogen integrated green ammonia synthesis project connected its first 200MW wind turbine units to the grid. This pilot project, approved by the National Energy Administration, is part of Shenzhen Energy Group's strategy for green energy.
The project team overcame challenges such as tight deadlines and high technical difficulties, achieving full-line connection of a 60km-long 220kV transmission line in just over 130 days. The commissioning of the power source supports water electrolysis for hydrogen production and green ammonia synthesis, essential for large-scale production. This milestone enhances the regional energy structure and aids in the transition to clean energy, contributing to China's
