Shepherd Manamike has been elected as the President of the Mine Rescue Association of Zimbabwe (MRAZ) for the 2026-2028 term during the association's Annual General Meeting in Gweru. He succeeds Professor Alfred Chinyere, who emphasized mine safety and emergency preparedness.
Manamike's previous role as South Zone Coordinator for Donning Teams demonstrates continuity in leadership, supported by a skilled team from various mining institutions.
