Sheridan City Council Awards $2.5 Million Pavement Rehabilitation Contract

At a recent meeting, the Sheridan City Council awarded a contract for the Terra-Turner Rotomill and Overlay Project to Simon Contractors, amounting to $2.5 million. This rehabilitation effort encompasses areas including Sheridan Avenue, Riverside Street, Terra Avenue, and Turner Avenue.
Funding sources for the project include CAP Tax, GPET, Water Utility, and Public Benefit funds. The city received two bids, with Simon Contractors submitting the lowest qualified offer. The project’s completion is expected to enhance local infrastructure and improve road conditions.
