Shuangliang Group Delivers Electrolysers for Oman's First Green Ammonia Project
Shuangliang Group has shipped 16 hydrogen electrolyzers for Oman’s first green ammonia project, developed by ACME Group. The project will produce 100,000 tonnes of green ammonia annually, with plans to scale up to 900,000 tonnes. The first-phase output is committed to the European market under a long-term agreement with Yara International, expected to begin in early 2027.

Shuangliang Group (SLG) has delivered 16 hydrogen electrolyzers for Oman’s first green ammonia project, developed by ACME Group at the Special Economic Zone at Duqm (SEZAD). The project aims to produce 100,000 tonnes of green ammonia per annum, with future plans to increase capacity to 900,000 tonnes.
The entire output will be sold to the European market under a long-term agreement with Yara International, starting early 2027. This marks SLG's first overseas renewable energy project and highlights its capabilities in the green hydrogen sector. ACME Oman’s electrolyzer needs are also supported by Sungrow Hydrogen.
