Shuka Minerals Reports High Zinc and Lead Grades from Kabwe Mine Samples in Zambia
Shuka Minerals Plc reported laboratory results for surface samples from the Kabwe zinc mine, following its announcement on March 19, 2025. Initial tests indicated that some samples exceeded upper detection limits for zinc and lead.
Eight lead samples and two zinc samples were re-analyzed, confirming high surface concentrations of up to 42.89% zinc and 6.10% lead. The company is considering projects in Zambia, South Africa, and other African countries rich in copper, lead, and zinc.
Shuka has completed the acquisition of 100% of Leopard Exploration and Mining Limited, which holds a mining license over 33.3 km² in Central Zambia. A three-phase exploration and development program will commence at the Kabwe mine, including geophysical surveys and feasibility studies.
