Sibanye-Stillwater, Valterra, and Johnson Matthey Launch PGM Technology Development Programme
Sibanye-Stillwater and Valterra Platinum have partnered with Johnson Matthey to develop new technologies using Platinum Group Metals (PGMs). This multi-year collaboration aims to broaden PGM applications beyond catalytic converters, which currently account for 60% of global PGM use. The initiative will explore sectors such as clean hydrogen and advanced materials, with plans to expand partnerships in the future.
