Sidel Supplies Farmavita with EvoBlow System for PET Bottle Production
Sidel has provided Italian hair care brand Farmavita with an EvoBlow stretch-blow-molding machine for in-house production of hydrogen peroxide-resistant PET bottles. This installation aims to replace HDPE packaging, reducing logistics complexity and carbon footprint. The system can produce 7200 one-liter bottles per hour, featuring an Air Recovery system for reduced energy and air consumption. Farmavita plans to integrate additional bottle formats in the future to further cut costs.

Sidel has equipped Farmavita, an Italian hair care company, with an EvoBlow stretch-blow-molding machine for producing PET bottles resistant to hydrogen peroxide. This shift from HDPE is intended to enhance sustainability and reduce logistics and storage needs.
The machine can produce 7200 one-liter bottles per hour and features additional heating modules for efficiency. Sidel's Air Recovery system decreases energy consumption by 10% and air use by 30%. Farmavita is considering adding more bottle formats to further reduce costs.
