SIDPEC Signs MoUs with Hitachi Zosen and Qara Energy for Methane Production and Strategic Partnership
Sidi Kerir Petrochemical Company has signed two key agreements aimed at enhancing its production capabilities and energy efficiency. The partnerships focus on establishing a methane gas production unit and long-term cooperation in sustainable energy solutions.

Sidi Kerir Petrochemical Company (SIDPEC) has executed a memorandum of understanding with Hitachi Zosen Inova AG to facilitate engineering design services for a methane gas production unit. This project will utilize carbon dioxide and hydrogen sourced from SIDPEC's operations.
Additionally, SIDPEC has entered into a framework agreement with Qara Energy Company to define the strategic partnership aimed at establishing a joint-stock entity focused on energy efficiency and sustainability. This collaboration seeks to position both companies as leaders in environmentally friendly energy solutions for the petrochemical, oil, and gas sectors in Egypt. The successful implementation of these initiatives may enhance SIDPEC's operational efficiency and competitive standing in the energy market.
