Siemens and Hrvatski Telekom Complete AI-Driven Cooling Optimization for Zagreb Data Center
Siemens and Hrvatski Telekom have successfully completed the White Space Cooling Optimization project for a data center in Zagreb, utilizing an AI-driven system to enhance cooling efficiency and sustainability. The initiative integrates wireless sensors and control modules to autonomously adjust fan airflow, effectively reducing hot spots by up to 99% and improving preventive maintenance through fault detection.

Siemens and Hrvatski Telekom have finalized the White Space Cooling Optimization (WSCO) project for HT's data center in Zagreb. The initiative employs an intelligent sensor layout and AI-based cooling control to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability.
WSCO integrates technical components such as wireless sensors, control modules, and an AI engine, along with a user interface. It operates through a continuous optimization loop that analyzes data from thermistors measuring temperature changes on servers and network racks.
The AI system autonomously regulates fan airflow, dynamically adjusting cooling processes to eliminate up to 99% of hot spots. Additionally, the solution enhances preventive maintenance by detecting faulty components.
