Siemens and nVent Develop Reference Architecture for AI Data Centers
Siemens and nVent are collaborating to create a reference architecture for AI data centers, aimed at improving performance, efficiency, and scalability for 100-MW hyperscale facilities. This architecture combines Siemens' electrical and automation systems with Nvidia's DGX GB200 designs and nVent's liquid cooling technology, focusing on modularity, fault tolerance, and energy efficiency to enhance AI performance. The initiative seeks to optimize computation speed and energy use, enabling operators to build future-proof data centers that maximize AI capabilities.

Siemens and nVent are collaborating to develop a reference architecture for AI data centers to enhance performance, efficiency, and scalability. This architecture aims to support the construction of 100-MW hyperscale AI data centers designed for large-scale, liquid-cooled AI infrastructures, such as the Nvidia GB 200 NVL72 systems.
It integrates Siemens' industrial-grade electrical and automation systems with Nvidia's DGX GB200 reference designs and nVent's liquid cooling technology. The architecture is expected to accelerate computation time and maximize the token-per-watt ratio, enhancing AI performance per energy unit. This joint initiative focuses on modularity, fault tolerance, and energy efficiency, helping operators build future-proof data centers that can unlock the full potential of AI.
