Siemens is expanding its Saskatoon research and development hub by 10,000 square feet, enhancing its electronic design automation capabilities to meet the growing demand for AI-driven semiconductor technologies. The expansion will facilitate the creation of up to 100 new high-tech jobs over the next two years, increasing the workforce from approximately 300 to 400 employees.
The investment aligns with Siemens' global Industrial AI strategy and aims to strengthen the Canadian tech sector's competitive edge. Additionally, the hub's growth is expected to deepen collaborations with local educational institutions and contribute to Saskatchewan's innovation landscape.
