Siemens Joins ESA EPIC Initiative to Enhance Space Startup Ecosystem
Siemens has aligned with the ESA's EPIC initiative to support the commercialization of European space startups. This partnership aims to provide resources such as advanced software and mentoring to accelerate innovation and market entry for emerging space technology companies.

Siemens will support startups from ESA's Business Incubation Centres (ESA BICs) through software, technical expertise, and mentoring. The partnership includes access to Siemens Xcelerator software, which facilitates digital twin technology and engineering simulations, aiming to expedite product development cycles and reduce costs.
This initiative encompasses over 37 ESA BICs that have aided more than 2,000 startups, fostering innovation in both space and terrestrial industries. By enhancing capabilities in Earth observation and data-driven technologies, Siemens' involvement aims to bolster Europe's competitiveness in the global space sector. The collaboration is expected to stimulate sustainable growth and technological advancements in space-related fields.
