Siemens Launches Sinteso Nova and Cerberus Nova Fire Detectors for Autonomous Buildings
Siemens has introduced the Sinteso Nova and Cerberus Nova fire detection systems aimed at enhancing fire safety through intelligent connectivity and proactive monitoring. This innovation is critical for various sectors including healthcare, higher education, and data centers, optimizing operational safety and maintenance efficiency while reducing risks of downtime and false alarms.

Siemens has launched the Sinteso Nova and Cerberus Nova fire detection systems, enhancing fire safety through continuous monitoring and automation. Key features include Disturbance-Free Testing (DFT) for round-the-clock self-checks, Smoke Entry Supervision (SES) for real-time smoke monitoring, and ASAplus technology for minimizing false alarms.
These IoT-enabled detectors are compatible with cloud applications, enabling real-time data sharing, remote diagnostics, and predictive maintenance. They address specific risks in sectors like healthcare and data centers, maintaining operational continuity and visibility.
The approach allows for uniform fire safety management across multiple sites in higher education and commercial real estate, ensuring reliable operations and minimal disruptions. The systems support a smooth upgrade path for existing fire panels, enhancing safety without requiring complete replacements.
