Siemens to Create 350 Jobs in North and South Carolina with $165 Million Investment in AI Support Facilities
Siemens is expanding its operations in North and South Carolina, adding 350 jobs to support AI and data center markets with a $165 million investment. New facilities in Raleigh and Wendell, North Carolina, will create 150 jobs, while Spartanburg, South Carolina, will add 150 manufacturing roles. The expansion includes two carbon-neutral facilities and aims to enhance production capacity for low and medium voltage products, addressing the growing demand from data centers.

Siemens will add 350 jobs in North and South Carolina to support AI and data center markets with a $165 million investment. In North Carolina, a new 131,000-square-foot facility in Raleigh will create 100 jobs, and a 101,000-square-foot site in Wendell will add 50 jobs for medium voltage production.
The Wendell headquarters will expand local switchgear production, generating over 200 jobs by 2028. In South Carolina, 150 manufacturing roles will be added in Spartanburg County. These projects aim to meet rising customer demand for advanced electrical infrastructure as AI workloads increase.
