Siemon Launches 200G-800G PAM4 Optical Transceivers for Enhanced Data Center Connectivity
Siemon introduces a new line of 200G, 400G, and 800G PAM4 optical transceivers, addressing increased demands from AI and advanced computing. This expansion enhances their data center connectivity solutions, supporting the evolving requirements of high-performance networks.

Siemon has launched 200G, 400G, and 800G PAM4 optical transceivers, enhancing its data center connectivity solutions. The new optical transceivers are designed to meet the growing bandwidth and scalability needs driven by AI and high-performance computing, ensuring reliable performance across Ethernet and InfiniBand networks.
They support various standard form factors, including OSFP and QSFP DD, and are available in multimode and singlemode configurations. Each transceiver is verified for interoperability and tested for error-free operation, reinforcing network reliability in multi-vendor environments.
This product expansion positions Siemon to better serve the increasing complexity of modern data centers, which demand higher speeds and greater efficiency. Failure to adopt such technology could hinder operators' ability to maintain competitive performance.
