Sika Tanzania is expanding its operations by upgrading its manufacturing facility in Dar es Salaam and establishing a new plant in Mwanza. This expansion aims to increase local production capacity and improve supply efficiency, reducing reliance on imports in alignment with Tanzania's Development Vision 2050.

The upgraded facility will enhance output, while the Mwanza plant will cater to the Lake Zone and western regions, improving delivery times and cutting transport costs. The investment, reflecting growing demand for construction materials, is expected to create jobs in technical and production fields. Sika has supplied materials for major projects like the Julius Nyerere Hydropower Project.
