Silbat Launches ARMIC Project for 14-Day Military Silicon Battery Power Supply

ENERGY STORAGEPOWER GRIDS & TRANSMISSION

Silbat has initiated the ARMIC project, which focuses on developing silicon batteries to provide uninterrupted power supply to critical military infrastructures for at least 14 consecutive days. The project, set to run for three years, addresses strategic vulnerabilities related to reliance on civilian power grids.

It aims to achieve competitive energy storage costs while supporting heating and cooling needs through integrated heat storage and cogeneration. The project targets technology readiness levels 7 to 8, preparing for full commercialization and operational deployment.
