Silver Bow Mining Corp. plans exploration near Walkerville, Montana, targeting an ore body for zinc, silver, gold, lead, and copper. The Montana DEQ issued a draft environmental assessment outlining the construction of up to seven drill pads, with 53 drill holes planned at a maximum depth of 7,000 feet.

Exploration is expected to start and finish by December 31, 2029, followed by two years of reclamation. The project will disturb about 12 acres of previously mined land. Public comments are accepted until March 2, 2026. Silver Bow Mining holds approximately 3,347 acres in mineral claims in Silver Bow County.
