Simplifhy Installs Innovative Power-to-Power Hydrogen System for Layer Electronics in Sicily
Simplifhy has installed a Power-to-Power hydrogen system for Layer Electronics in Sicily, integrating hydrogen production, storage, and conversion technologies. The system includes AEM electrolysers for hydrogen generation and a metal hydride storage module, with a fuel cell converting stored hydrogen back into electricity for industrial applications. Engineered by DEREC Consulting, this project underscores Simplifhy's commitment to advancing industrial decarbonization through innovative hydrogen solutions, although it currently serves as a demonstration.

Simplifhy has installed a Power-to-Power (P2P) hydrogen system for Layer Electronics in Sicily, integrating hydrogen production, storage, and conversion technologies. The P2P system includes two AEM electrolysers from Enapter for hydrogen production from mains water and electricity, and a metal hydride storage module from GRZ Technologies for safe hydrogen storage.
A fuel cell converts stored hydrogen back into electricity for industrial use. The system also features a water treatment component to maintain electrolysers' performance. This project, engineered by DEREC Consulting, positions Simplifhy as a leader in industrial decarbonization through hydrogen technologies, although the current installation is for demonstration purposes.
