Singapore will establish the National Space Agency of Singapore (NSAS) under the Ministry of Trade and Industry, effective April 1, 2026, to bolster its presence in the growing global space economy. Singapore will establish the National Space Agency of Singapore (NSAS) under the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) effective April 1, 2026. Announced by Minister Tan See Leng on February 2 at the Space Summit, NSAS will enhance Singapore's capabilities in the global space economy, which is projected to grow to over US$1 trillion by 2040.
