SkyFire Energy Inc has acquired Hakai Energy Solutions, expanding its renewable energy capabilities in Western Canada. The combined team of approximately 200 employees will focus on solar and battery energy storage systems, including large off-grid installations.

The acquisition strengthens SkyFire's presence across Vancouver, Vancouver Island, and coastal British Columbia, while enhancing its employee-ownership model. New capabilities will include solar-powered microgrids and comprehensive operations and maintenance services for commercial and utility-scale projects.
