Skygard Acquires Two Data Centers from Orange in Oslo, Norway
Skygard has acquired the OSL3 and OSL4 data centers from Orange Business Services Norway. The ownership of Skygard is shared equally among Telenor, Hafslund, and HitecVision, with each holding a 31.7 percent stake.
Skygard, established in 2023, is developing the OSL1 facility in Hovinbyen, which will provide 20MW across 25,000 sqm. Two additional data centers are planned, aiming for a combined capacity of 40MW. Orange has owned the OSL3 and OSL4 facilities since 2018, following its acquisition of Basefarm for €350 million. OSL3 is located at Stanseveien 30, and OSL4 is at Nordliveien 21 / Hornerudveien 25, with previous sales brochures indicating OSL4 could offer up to 10MW across 6,000 sqm.
