SLB and NVIDIA Expand Collaboration to Develop AI Infrastructure for Energy Sector
SLB has announced an expansion of its partnership with NVIDIA to design and implement critical AI infrastructure and models for the energy sector. The collaboration focuses on modular designs for data centers, development of an AI factory for energy, and optimization of AI processing on SLB's digital platforms. This initiative aims to enhance data-driven decision-making in the energy industry, building upon a relationship that began in 2008.

SLB is expanding its collaboration with NVIDIA to design and deploy essential AI infrastructure for the energy sector. The partnership includes modular designs for NVIDIA's DSX AI data centers, enhancing quality and reducing costs through offsite manufacturing.
They will also create an 'AI Factory for Energy' using domain-specific generative AI models to help energy companies scale AI operations. Additionally, SLB and NVIDIA aim to improve large data processing on SLB's platforms using NVIDIA's latest AI technologies. This expansion continues a partnership that began in 2008, moving from experimental AI usage to enterprise-scale implementation.
