Slovenia Launches $23.4 Million Call for Hydrogen Projects Under IPCEI Initiative
The Government of Slovenia, through the Ministry of Cohesion and Regional Development, has announced a funding decision for the call for proposals titled 'Incentives for projects included in Important Project of Common European Interest (IPCEI) Hydrogen.' Supported by the European Regional Development Fund, the initiative aims to stimulate investments in the European hydrogen value chain, focusing on hydrogen production capacities, transport infrastructure, and its application in industry and transport. A total of $23.4 million is allocated for this call, which will also facilitate the development of advanced technologies such as large-scale electrolyzers and energy storage solutions, aiming to decrease reliance on fossil fuels.
