Snam offers a modular service portfolio that includes network capacity, storage access, LNG terminal services, and future hydrogen transport to various energy providers and industries. Its infrastructure comprises a 38,000-kilometer gas transport network, major gas storage sites, and a growing portfolio of hydrogen projects.

Snam is conducting pressure tests and material analyses to retrofit pipelines for hydrogen suitability and is involved in the 'Hydrogen Backbone' initiative to establish a pan-European hydrogen network. The company is expanding its storage and LNG capacities and is investing in digital systems for optimized energy management, ensuring regulatory compliance and reliable service to its clients.
