Societe Generale has led a $925 million financing deal for Rowan Digital Infrastructure's new 164MW data center in Frederick County, Maryland. This facility is strategically located 25 miles north of Northern Virginia's Data Center Alley, which is the leading hub for hyperscale data centers in the US.

The project comes amid rising AI-driven demand and constraints in land and power in Northern Virginia, pushing development into Maryland. Societe Generale's activities in 2025 included over $10 billion committed to US data center projects, further solidifying its role in financing hyperscale infrastructure.
