Smart grids, already in use in Australia, could enable energy trading among consumers, while smart meters would enhance energy consumption tracking. However, legal uncertainties and risks associated with smart contracts remain.
A small data center could support solar projects by financing battery storage, enabling energy sales to T&TEC. This approach may pave the way for homeowners to invest in solar energy, creating a robust renewable energy landscape.
