Solaris Resources Expands Warintza Exploration Area by 40,000 Hectares, Reports Copper Anomalies Up to 8.38%
Solaris Resources Inc. has expanded its Warintza exploration area by 40,000 hectares through an option agreement with Ecuador's Empresa Nacional Minera ENAMI EP. Initial prospecting has revealed significant copper anomalies, with rock samples showing concentrations as high as 8.38% Cu, indicating strong mineralization potential. The company is advancing its permitting strategy and conducting a Feasibility Study, aiming for full project permits by the second half of 2026.

Solaris Resources Inc. has secured an option from Ecuador's Empresa Nacional Minera ENAMI EP to acquire up to 100% interest in new exploration areas adjacent to its Warintza Project, expanding its territory by approximately 40,000 hectares. Early prospecting results from the Solaris 1 area show copper anomalies with rock samples returning up to 8.38% Cu.
The company has identified significant copper mineralization potential characterized by widespread potassic alteration. A parallel permitting strategy is advancing, with the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) nearing technical approval.
Additionally, a Feasibility Study is underway in collaboration with international engineering partners. Solaris aims to maintain momentum across development workstreams, expecting to secure full project permits in the second half of 2026.
