Solatio Withdraws Legal Action, Paving Way for Green Hydrogen Project in Piauí
After Solatio withdrew its legal action regarding environmental licenses, Investe Piauí confirmed that the green hydrogen project in Piauí is ongoing and undergoing reformulation. Solatio's project, initially halted by federal court due to licensing issues, awaits approval for total electrical connection from ONS while pivoting to a less energy-intensive Green Data Center project.

The green hydrogen project in Piauí remains active after Solatio's withdrawal from a legal dispute over environmental licenses. Investe Piauí reported that the project continues to be restructured, with operations maintained in Parnaíba.
The project, estimated at R$ 27 billion, faced a halt in January due to court rulings prompted by the Public Ministry's concerns about environmental licensing, particularly regarding water resource usage. While the request for electrical connection is pending with ONS, Solatio is shifting focus to a Green Data Center project, requiring its own environmental licensing. Investe Piauí emphasized its commitment to fostering a competitive investment environment in the state.
