Solex Energy Plans BESS Manufacturing Progress by Late FY27 Following Solar Module Expansion
Solex Energy aims to make advancements in Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) manufacturing by late FY27, with significant growth expected in FY28. The company is in discussions with technology partners and anticipates initial visibility of progress by December 2026 or January 2027, leading to a peak opportunity around October 2028. Solex has also commissioned a 2.2 GW solar PV module manufacturing facility in Gujarat, with an order book exceeding ₹4,000 crore and plans for expansion to 10 GW by 2030.

Solex Energy plans to progress in Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) manufacturing by late FY27, with peak momentum expected in FY28. Initial advancements are anticipated by December 2026 or January 2027.
The company is engaging with technology partners for containerized BESS solutions. Solex has recently commissioned a 2.2 GW solar PV module manufacturing facility in Gujarat, which began production in November 2025.
The order book exceeds ₹4,000 crore, with ongoing discussions for expansion to 10 GW capacity by 2030. The company aims for ₹1,700-1,800 crore revenue in FY26.
