Sonangol Opens Corporate Data Center to Enhance Digital Transformation in Angola
Sonangol inaugurated its new Corporate Data Center on January 25, marking the company's 50th anniversary. The 920-square-meter facility aims to centralize systems, enhance cybersecurity, and position the company for digital transformation challenges in Angola.

On January 25, Sonangol officially opened its Corporate Data Center as part of its 50th anniversary celebrations. The event was attended by José Barroso, Secretary of State for Petroleum and Gas, and Sebastião Martins, Chairman of the Board.
Edivaldo Manuel, Director of Information Systems and Technologies, stated that the project is a result of a technological centralization strategy. This centralization will improve data management, enhance cybersecurity, and optimize internal processes, aligning the company with best international practices in technological governance.
