South Africa and UAE Highlight Green Hydrogen Opportunities Amid US Tax Benefits for Hydrogen Expansion

Global initiatives include Duke Energy's green hydrogen production in Florida, Plug Power's plans for a PEM electrolyzer in France, and various projects in India, Germany, Norway, and Egypt aimed at advancing hydrogen technology and infrastructure. Funding for clean hydrogen initiatives is on the rise, with France implementing new subsidy auction rules.

In Florida, Duke Energy showcased green hydrogen production, while Plug Power signed a letter of intent for a 5 MW PEM electrolyzer at Hy2gen's facility in France. Toyota Motor North America invested in First Element Fuel to enhance hydrogen fueling infrastructure in California.
Other developments include a hydrogen-powered train in India, a zero-emission train in Germany, a green hydrogen project in Norway, and a 100 MW project in Egypt exporting to Europe and the US.
