South Jeolla Province has declared its goal to become the 'AI Capital of Korea' by 2026, initiating the construction of key AI infrastructure, including the National AI Computing Center and several data centers. The province aims to enhance industrial competitiveness and improve resident services, supported by a KRW 2 trillion investment. Key milestones include various data center groundbreakings and the establishment of AI-focused initiatives in key industries. The province plans to implement the 'Jeollanam-do AI Master Plan' to further AI innovation across the region.

South Jeolla Province aims to become the 'AI Capital of Korea' by 2026, beginning with the construction of the National AI Computing Center and a Global AI Data Center, following a KRW 2 trillion infrastructure investment. Key projects include the Jangseong Fine Data Center starting in December 2025 and several other data centers in 2026.
