Sow Good Acquires Nachu Graphite Project, Enhances Position in Battery Anode Market
Sow Good Inc. has acquired the Nachu Graphite Project in Tanzania, positioning itself as a significant player in the critical minerals and battery anode sector. This acquisition is expected to bolster the U.S. lithium-ion battery supply chain amid increasing demand for non-Chinese graphite sources.

Sow Good Inc. has entered a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of the Nachu Graphite Project from Ryzon Materials Ltd and other sellers, enhancing its role in the critical minerals market. The Nachu Project, located in Tanzania, is one of the largest high-purity graphite deposits globally, featuring a completed Bankable Feasibility Study and a binding offtake agreement with a Tier-1 electric vehicle manufacturer.
The project is designed to produce approximately 236,000 tonnes of graphite concentrate annually at high purity levels. This acquisition aligns with increasing regulatory pressures for non-Chinese sources of critical minerals, potentially improving supply chain security for Western industries. The successful development of Nachu could position Sow Good as a leading participant in the global battery anode supply chain.
