Chance Saltzman indicated that this budget will reflect broad support from key U.S. leadership for the growth of space capabilities.
He emphasized the urgency for the Space Force to meet emerging threats within a two to three-year timeframe, rather than the usual five to six years. The service has a strategy to utilize this funding effectively, focusing on expanding existing systems and addressing gaps in capabilities essential for achieving space superiority.
