Space Professionals Partnership Secures Contracts with UK Space Agency and Northern Ireland Space Office
Space Professionals Partnership Ltd (SPPL) has secured multiple contracts, strengthening its role in the UK space sector. In November 2025, SPPL signed a grant agreement with the Northern Ireland Space Office (NISO) to deliver the Space Ready capacity building programme, aimed at helping local manufacturing firms become reliable supply chain partners.
Earlier in 2025, SPPL was selected by the UK Space Agency to provide technical assurance and R&D support for the Agency's Office of the Chief Engineer (OCE). SPPL is currently conducting a study on the effects of large satellite constellations on dark skies and is leading studies on next-generation technologies, including quantum technologies, AI, and lunar debris mitigation. These initiatives reflect the growing emphasis on sustainability and innovation in the UK space sector, with plans to expand offerings by 2026.
