SpaceX Acquires Anysphere for $60 Billion, Establishes SpaceXAI Subsidiary
SpaceX has finalized its acquisition of Anysphere, the developer of the AI tool Cursor, in a $60 billion all-stock deal. This merger positions SpaceX to enhance its AI capabilities and is expected to contribute an additional $13 billion to its revenue by 2027.

SpaceX has completed its acquisition of Anysphere, Inc., valued at $60 billion, making Cursor a wholly owned subsidiary under the newly branded SpaceXAI division. The deal involved issuing approximately 391 million SpaceX Class A shares, converting Cursor's shares into 389.3 million SpaceX shares.
Analysts project that the acquisition could boost SpaceX's revenue by $13 billion by 2027, with Morgan Stanley maintaining a $300 base price target.
