SpaceX Launches 25 Starlink Satellites from Vandenberg Space Force Base
On January 21, SpaceX successfully launched 25 Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit using a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. This marks the tenth flight of the rocket's first stage booster, which has also supported previous missions including SDA T1TL-B and SDA T1TL-C.
The first stage booster successfully landed on the drone ship 'Of Course I Still Love You' in the Pacific Ocean after stage separation. Residents in Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and Ventura counties were warned of potential sonic booms during the launch, contingent on weather conditions. The launch was also visible from Tijuana and other municipalities in Baja California, depending on sky clarity.
