Sphere 3D and Bitdeer Sign 30 MW Co-Mining Agreements for AI Infrastructure
Sphere 3D has secured agreements with Bitdeer Technologies for 30 MW of mining capacity, enhancing operational flexibility. These contracts not only generate immediate revenue but also allow Sphere 3D to explore future AI infrastructure applications.

Sphere 3D Corp. has entered into co-mining agreements with Bitdeer Technologies to host 30 MW of mining capacity across three data centers in Tennessee and Kentucky. The agreements include a one-year initial term, renewable for an additional year, and provide Sphere 3D with contracted mining economics while evaluating broader digital infrastructure opportunities in AI and high-performance computing.
Bitdeer will deploy its SEALMINER A2 Pro Air mining hardware, with net proceeds shared between the companies. This move aligns with Sphere 3D's strategy to utilize available power capacity effectively and adapt to the evolving digital infrastructure market. The agreements highlight the significance of power access and operational readiness in asset valuation.
