SPIE Secures EDF Contract for Saint-Nazaire Offshore Wind Farm Maintenance
SPIE will maintain the Saint-Nazaire offshore wind farm under a two-year contract beginning May 2026. This project is significant for the renewable energy sector, ensuring ongoing operational efficiency of the 480 MW facility.

SPIE has entered into a contract with EDF for the maintenance of the Saint-Nazaire offshore wind farm, which features 80 turbines, each rated at 6 MW, totaling 480 MW of installed capacity. The contract, which begins in May 2026, spans an initial two years with a renewal option.
SPIE, alongside consortium partners Valemo and Services Voltige, will perform various technical services, including maintenance of the foundations and the offshore electrical substation. The facility, located 12 to 20 km off the Loire-Atlantique coast, can supply electricity for approximately 700,000 people. This maintenance contract is crucial for sustaining the operational reliability of the wind farm and supporting France's renewable energy goals.
