Spire Global's Ten Satellites Arrive at Vandenberg for SpaceX Transporter-16 Launch
Spire Global has announced the arrival of ten multipurpose satellites at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California, ahead of their launch on SpaceX's Transporter-16 mission. Designed and built in-house, the satellites will support various government and commercial missions, including RF data collection and IoT connectivity. This launch will also feature Spire's seventh Optical Inter-Satellite Link satellite, enhancing direct satellite communication.

Spire Global's ten multipurpose satellites have arrived at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California for the upcoming SpaceX Transporter-16 launch. The satellites, designed, built, integrated, and tested in-house at Spire's Glasgow facility, will support diverse government and commercial missions.
Eight satellites will focus on RF data collection, cybersecurity, IoT connectivity, and remote sensing. The launch includes Spire's seventh Optical Inter-Satellite Link satellite for enhanced communication and one satellite for constellation replenishment. Spire has launched over 220 satellites in 40 launch campaigns.
