Srbija Ziđin Koper Reports €526 Million Profit Amid Mineral Resource Concerns
Srbija Ziđin Koper achieved a net profit of approximately €526 million in 2025, driven by significant copper, gold, and silver sales. However, the company notes that Serbia lacks sufficiently rich mineral resources, which could impact future mining prospects and economic contributions.

In 2025, Srbija Ziđin Koper reported total revenues of approximately 257.87 billion dinars (€2.2 billion) and net profits of 61.74 billion dinars (€526 million). The company, predominantly owned (63%) by Zijin (Europe) International Mining Company, attributed its profits largely to copper sales, with domestic revenues at 64.64 billion dinars and foreign sales at 163 billion dinars.
Business expenses totaled 161.2 billion dinars, primarily driven by material and energy costs. Despite the robust financial performance, the company highlighted that Serbia's mineral resources are diverse but not rich enough, potentially affecting the mining sector's growth and the region's economic development.
