SRK Consulting Establishes New Office in Kitwe, Zambia to Support Mining Sector Growth
SRK Consulting has opened a new office in Kitwe, Zambia, capitalizing on the Zambian government's commitment to the mining sector. This expansion is aimed at improving local consulting services and supporting the anticipated increase in copper production from 900,000 tonnes to 3 million tonnes per year by 2032. The new practice will also address emerging opportunities in gold, iron ore, and other minerals, and will integrate services across water, energy, and infrastructure sectors.

SRK Consulting has opened an office in Kitwe, Zambia, to enhance its presence in the country's mining sector. The Zambian government plans to escalate refined copper production from 900,000 tonnes to 3 million tonnes annually by 2032, creating opportunities for exploration in various minerals.
The new office aims to better serve local clients and is strategically located near Zambia's copper mining hub and the DRC. SRK will also support projects in water and infrastructure. A workshop is scheduled for 24 March in Kitwe, coinciding with the Zambian International Mining and Energy Conference, to showcase SRK's capabilities to prospective clients.
